AND THEN WE CAN DISCUSS FIRST READING OF THE SDC PROJECTS, DISCUSS RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND APPROVING A WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND MARKETING ALLIANCE INCORPORATED FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,750.

THIS ITEM WAS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE EDC BOARD AT THEIR PREVIOUS MEETING, BUT THIS IS A CONTRACT WITH THE WEBSITE DEVELOPER GROUP TO CREATE A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SPECIFIC WEBSITE, WHICH WOULD INCLUDE AN INVENTORY OF AVAILABLE PROPERTIES. THE INTENT HERE IS TO LET DEVELOPERS AND BUILDERS KNOW WHAT PROPERTIES ARE AVAILABLE, WHICH SHOULD STREAMLINE DEVELOPMENT AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR THEM TO COME TO THE CITY.

IF YOU THINK BACK R5 ZONING IS 60 BY 120, SO THIS PROPERTY WELL EXCEEDS THOSE REQUIREMENTS. LOOKING AT THE AERIAL HERE YOU CAN SEE THIS SECTION OF WEST FARMERS. BUT GOING BACK TO OUR PREVIOUS SLIDE, EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THESE PROPERTIES ARE ZONED LIGHT MANUFACTURING, WE DO HAVE IT BEING USED LARGELY AS RESIDENTIAL. AND APPARENTLY THESE DOGS JUMP OUT WHENEVER THEY PLEASE. AND THEY THESE KIDS. I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. I GOT THE DOGS TO LEAVE ME ALONE. ONE TIME. THEY APPROACHED ME WHEN I WAS TAKING PICTURES OF THE CORNER AT WATER STREET, AND I GOT THE DOGS TO GET AWAY. BUT A SMALL CHILD HAS NO POSSIBILITY EXCEPT TO RUN.
