IT'S NOT OVERNIGHT, BUT I THINK IT IS POSSIBLE FOR US TO REDESIGN ELM STREET, REDEVELOP THE USES ALONG ELM STREET OVER MANY YEARS TO MAKE THAT THE HEART OF OUR DOWNTOWN AND MAKE THAT A VERY WALKABLE URBAN AREA WITH A WITH A LOT OF COMPLEMENTARY USES. AND SO THAT'S SPEAKING FOR MYSELF, AT LEAST, LOOKING AT THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THESE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS AND CROSSWALKS. THAT'S WHAT I WAS KEEPING IN MIND, IS HOW IS THIS GOING TO INCREASE THE WALKABILITY FOR ELM, WHICH IS WHY I KIND OF SEE THE SIDEWALKS GOING ALONG ELM STREET AND BETWEEN MCWHIRTER AND KAUFMAN ALONG THE MECHANIC SHOP AS AS AN IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENT AND AS THE ONCE A MONTH THING.
